Abstract: Surprisingly, geography has been chosen to be put aside in education by some. It is claimed that certain students find the subject 'boring', which for a subject that holds such meaningful content to students' lives, is strange and somewhat puzzling. The present work is focused on providing updated geographic information for the year 3 primary teacher, with a variety of suggested activities, including resources. The resources take the form of worksheets, models and PowerPoint presentations amongst others, with the aim of sustaining the activities' objectives. The work has been constituted by constantly referring to various secondary sources in order to provide effective and relevant information for geographical teaching. Furthermore, the aim of such a dissertation is to help remove such a negative stereotype, held by some teachers and students alike, and transmit a more positive attitude towards the teaching and learning of the subject. As it is regarded by many researchers, geography should be a core component for good education, especially as it connects to the students' lives and further helps them to understand the world. The presented work is intended to help and encourage primary teachers, especially those who lack the required level of confidence to teach the subject confidently and effectively. The main aim is to help teachers encourage, excite and motivate students. Let's make Geography fun!
