University of Malta academic Prof. Josephine Deguara, (Department of Early Childhood and Primary Education, Faculty of Education), in collaboration with Dr Gladson Chikwa (Manchester Metropolitan University), Dr Edwin Rajah (Otago Polytechnic, Aukland Campus) and Dr Yanmin Zhao (The Education University of Hong Kong), has co-edited a new volume published by Emerald Publishing: Innovations in Assessment, Student Experience and Professional Development in Higher Education: Contemporary Global Perspectives.
The opening chapter, “A pandemic legacy: Adapting new modes of Teaching Practicum assessment for student teachers in early and primary schools in Malta – Narrative perspectives from six examiners” is co-authored by Prof. Josephine Deguara and Prof. Josephine Milton, from the Department of Early Childhood and Primary Education. The volume has also been formally endorsed by Prof. Colin Calleja, Dean of the Faculty of Education.
This edited collection offers a comprehensive international overview of current developments in higher education, focusing on innovations in assessment, student experience, and professional development.
