Shadow Minister Hon. Ivan Bartolo Presents Latest Publication to UM Rector

Malta’s Shadow Minister for the Digital Society, Hon. Ivan Bartolo, recently met with UM Rector, Prof. Alfred J. Vella, to present his latest publication, a practical guide to lifelong learning and personal development.

Through his work, Hon. Bartolo, who’s also known widely as a Maltese entrepreneur, leadership strategist, and honorary doctorate recipient from Middlesex University (UK), aims to help individuals and organisations achieve prosperity through self-awareness, purpose, and continuous learning.

Titled The Mirror Never Lies: From Reflection to Prosperity – The Blueprint for Success and Fulfilment, the book offers a fresh and compelling approach to education, self-awareness, and human development. Drawing on Bartolo’s Thriveon Method, it combines reflective exercises, real-life case studies, and step-by-step guidance to help readers define their purpose, set meaningful goals, and track progress through Personal Success Metrics (PSMs).

The insights in the book are particularly relevant to educational institutions. By integrating its principles, they can foster emotional intelligence, purpose-driven learning, employability, and resilience, while promoting overall wellbeing and adaptability among students.

The Rector warmly received the publication, noting the importance of embedding self-reflection into personal and professional development. Prof. Vella highlighted that true success begins with the courage to look inward and commit to a lifelong journey of purposeful learning; a message at the heart of Bartolo’s work.
