On 18 September 2026, our College Principal, Mr Paul Xuereb, hosted a special meeting for our student-athletes. The goal was to welcome them and explain the Student-Athletes Programme, which is designed to help them balance their education and sports.
The Principal spoke about how the College helps students manage their lesson timetables alongside their demanding training schedules. He also highlighted the great sports facilities available on Campus, including the Fitness Hub, which students can use to stay in top shape.
To help the College keep accurate attendance records, the Principal reminded athletes to inform the school whenever they take part in competitions. He emphasised that the College takes great pride in celebrating its students' achievements, whether they compete locally in Malta or internationally abroad.
To support the athletes better, a survey will be shared soon. This will help the College learn more about the specific sports the students play and the teams they represent.
The meeting also featured valuable insights from our staff and guest speakers:
The event ended with interactive group work, where students collaborated and discussed their experiences. It was a highly successful and interesting meeting. The students walked away with a lot of useful information, asked great questions, and participated fully throughout the session.
