UM at the 2025 Malta Book Festival

We’re thrilled to announce that the University of Malta will once again be taking part in the Malta Book Festival 2025!

Representing the University will be Think, Malta University Press, and Malta University Distributors: bringing together a rich selection of UM publications, research, and services.

From inspiring conversations and special guests to exclusive events and offers, there will be something for everyone to enjoy.

At the Book Festival you’ll find some 50 exhibitors from Malta and abroad, showcasing books across all genres, as well as publishers, booksellers and cultural organisations. You can look forward to a full programme of book launches, author talks, workshops, performances, and children’s activities — including theatrical productions of Maltese children’s literature in a dedicated stage space. All primary and secondary students may also receive a €20 book-voucher to redeem at the festival, encouraging young readers to explore new titles.

This year’s theme is: Writing Anew – embracing a bold new vision with a theme that captures the spirit of change and transformation.
