World Mental Health – 10 October 2025

On World Mental Health Day, we shared a message about something that affects nearly all of us today and this is the emotional toll of constant news exposure.

It is easy to feel anxious, drained, or even numb when we’re surrounded by an endless stream of distressing headlines. Psychologists call this “news fatigue”, and it can have real effects on our emotional wellbeing.

Staying informed is important, but too much exposure, especially to negative or traumatic news, can lead to stress, hopelessness, and mental exhaustion.
