Antonella on Campus 103.7: Campus Breakfast and beyond

Antonella Galea Loffreda is an actress, broadcaster, presenter and producer with a strong passion for arts, culture, and storytelling. She currently produces and hosts Campus Breakfast, one of Campus 103.7’s staple programmes, airing every weekday from 7:00 to 10:00. For the show’s producer, as well as presenter, her foremost goal is to draw in a wide audience of listeners who can relate to the ideas expressed in her discursive programme, which are especially focused on lifestyle and entertainment. Additionally, this particular programme is considered to be a platform through which educational and cultural information is shared, serving as one of many vital voices representing the University of Malta and its core values. Through Campus Breakfast, diverse student unions and faculties alike are given space to keep their respective audiences informed with the latest relevant information pertaining to campus events while also promoting courses which can be taken at UM.

With over 25 years of experience in drama, Antonella’s career spans theatre, radio, and television. She has performed in numerous productions at Malta’s most prestigious venues and is well known to television audiences for her leading roles in popular drama series. She has also co-hosted major cultural events, including the prestigious festival L-Għanja tal-Poplu.  Beyond broadcasting and performance, Antonella is a passionate scriptwriter and producer for the Culture Pass Programme, where for the past five years she has been creating immersive theatre experiences for schools, inspiring a new generation to engage with and appreciate the arts.
