Mastering Horizon Europe Pillar II Proposals is an intensive two-day interactive training designed to equip researchers, research managers, and proposal writers with the essential knowledge, tools, and practical skills to develop high-quality, competitive applications under Horizon Europe Pillar II.
To attend the session please submit the online registration form.
Day 1 focuses on strategic framing, excellence, and impact, offering participants a clear understanding of the policy context, effective call selection, and strategies for crafting strong Excellence and Impact sections.
Day 2 turns to implementation, consortium building, and budgeting, guiding participants through the practical aspects of proposal preparation, including work plan development, resource allocation, and financial planning.
Throughout both days, participants will also explore how Artificial Intelligence (AI) tools can support the proposal development process, from streamlining literature and policy reviews to assisting in drafting, structuring, and refining key proposal sections. Real-life examples, group discussions, and hands-on exercises will help participants apply these strategies directly to their own proposal ideas.
By the end of this training, participants will be able to:
- Analyse and interpret Horizon Europe Pillar II calls to align proposals with EU policy priorities;
- Leverage AI tools to support research, drafting, and content refinement for competitive proposal writing;
- Structure strong proposals, effectively addressing the Excellence, Impact, and Implementation sections;
- Design effective consortia and develop realistic, compliant budgets aligned with Horizon Europe rules;
- Understand evaluator expectations, apply best practices, and avoid common pitfalls in proposal preparation;
- Enhance their strategic capacity and confidence to contribute to successful Horizon Europe submissions.
