Malta–Poland Joint Call for R&I Proposals

Xjenza Malta and the National Centre for Research and Development (NCBR) are launching a Call for joint Research and Innovation projects, co-funded by Xjenza Malta through the Access2GlobalResearch (A2GR) Scheme and by NCBR through the INNOGLOBO programme. 

This cooperation aims to enhance collaboration and promote joint initiatives that are aligned with the common national priorities of both countries.

The eligible thematic areas are:

• Marine and Maritime Technologies

• Digital Technologies

• Health and Wellbeing

• Sustainable Use of Resources

• Smart Manufacturing

• Aerospace, Aviation, and Space

• Cultural Heritage

Malta-based research entities are invited to apply for financial support of up to €150,000 per project.

Applications for Malta-based entities are due by 30 March 2026, whereas those from Poland-based entities are required by 30 April 2026. 

An online info session will take place on 6 February 2026 at 10:30, with the aim of providing guidance on research entity eligibility, eligible costs, submission procedures and partner-search tools including Plumtri and NCBR’s PartFinder. 

Registration for the session is open until 4 February 2026.
