Invitation to event with Iris Wolff at Malta Book Festival

The Department of German would like to warmly invite you to a special event organised in collaboration with the publishers Horizons and Klett-Cotta, the German-Maltese Circle and the kind support of the German Embassy in Malta.
The acclaimed author Iris Wolff will be the special guest of this year's German-language book stand at the Malta Book Festival and present her latest novel Lichtungen (shortlisted for the German Book Prize in 2024), which was recently translated into Maltese by our colleague Alfred Scalpello.
The event 'In conversation with Iris Wolff: Her novel Lichtungen and the Maltese translation Meta Ġej' will take place on Friday 7 November at 17:30 at the Book Festival at the fair ground in Ta' Qali. The conversation will be held in English with readings from the novels in German and in Maltese.
