The EU institutions welcome three new Maltese interpreters

The Department of Translation, Terminology and Interpreting Studies warmly congratulates three former students who obtained their Postgraduate Diploma in Interpreting Studies in June 2025 and passed the European Union’s interinstitutional accreditation test in October 2025.

Amy Borg, Jude Magro and Nicole Vassallo will now join the pool of accredited conference interpreters for the Maltese booth in the European Union institutions.

Over the past two academic years, several students have also been accepted into the Blue Book traineeship programme of the European Commission's Directorate-General for Interpretation (DG SCIC), which provides graduates with additional on-site training in Brussels.
