UM Academics Honoured at Premju Nazzjonali Ħaddiema tas-Sena 2025

Prof. Matthew Montebello, from the Faculty of Information & Communication Technology, has been named a finalist for the prestigious national award. Being selected as a finalist reflects the high regard in which his work is held at both national and institutional levels.

The University also celebrates Prof. Yves Muscat Baron, from the Faculty of Medicine & Surgery, who has been honoured with the Lifetime Achievement Award. This recognition crowns decades of pioneering work, unwavering commitment to patient care, and exceptional leadership in medical education and research. His achievements have left a profound and lasting impact on the University, the healthcare sector, and the Maltese community.
