Prof. David Magri presents at IUPAC Conference on Physical Organic Chemistry

The 27th IUPAC International Conference on Physical Organic Chemistry (ICPOC-27) was held at the Faculty of Chemistry and Pharmacy, Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität München, Munich, Germany, from  6 September to 9 September 2026.

The IUPAC Conference brings together researchers from across the world to present the latest results in organic reaction mechanisms, catalysis, reactive intermediates, organic photo-chemistry, supra-molecular chemistry and systems chemistry.

Prof. David Magri gave a presentation entitled Redox-Fluorescent Molecular Logic Gates based on Photo-induced Electron Transfer highlighting local research on smart intelligent molecules with computational abilities.

The biennale 4-day conference, consisting of 115 oral and 100 poster presentations, was attended by 260 participants representing 34 countries.

IUPAC is the International Union of Pure and Applied Chemistry. The organisation serves the international scientific community by advancing the chemical sciences, especially in developing nomenclature and terminology.
