UN Assistant Secretary-General for Legal Affairs lectures to UM students

On the invitation of Dr Felicity G. Attard (President of the Malta Branch of the International Law Association), Mr Steven Hill, United Nations Assistant Secretary-General for Legal Affairs delivered a thought-provoking Lectio Magistralis entitled 'International Law at the United Nations' at Sir Temi Zammit Hall, University of Malta.

It was concluded with an interesting Q and A session moderated by Prof. Patricia Vella de Fremeaux. The closing remarks were made by Prof. Omar Grech. 

The Lectio, which was very well received, was attended by numerous students, government officials, foreign ministry officials, UN members and University staff.
