Do it to Learn It – Episode 4 now online!

This episode of Do it to Learn It features students from the Department of Human Communication Sciences & Disorders within the Faculty of Health Sciences.

Yesenia Vassallo, who is studying Speech Language Pathology, explains how during their hands-on clinical experience, she and her peers help people who have difficulty with language, speech, and other difficulties acquired throughout life.

“Therapy is not a one-size-fits-all approach we take with patients; it’s diverse – and we adapt it to whatever the client needs”.

These clinical sessions are held at various clinics across the island; including Mater Dei Hospital, Karin Grech Hospital, Inspire and others.
