Comics on Campus celebrates Malta’s vibrant comic scene with a full day of artist showcases, talks and discussions!
Meet leading local creators, including Dean Fenech, Robert Caruana, Peter Magro, Francois Galea and Audrienne Degiorgio, and browse second-hand comic books sale in support of the Graphic Novels Library Malta (GNLM) fundraiser.
The programme features engaging talks on using comics to challenge stereotypes faced by women and girls in STEAM, the science behind invented languages, and the global rise of K-comics and webtoons. A closing panel discussion will explore the biggest obstacles for long-term comic creators, and how can Malta cultivate a self-sustaining comic industry.
