FPEI is launching Entrepreneurship for Creatives 2026, a free in-person training programme designed to help creatives strengthen the practical skills behind their creative work.
Taking place at Valletta Design Cluster between 15 October and 12 November 2026, the programme will explore how creativity and entrepreneurship can come together, offering participants practical insight into key areas such as developing a viable model, protecting creative work, storytelling and branding, pricing, visibility, and funding.
Whether you’re a freelancer, artist, designer, maker, performer, content creator, writer, photographer, filmmaker, or simply define yourself as a creative, this programme is designed to help you take your creative work further.
The sessions will be interactive and practical, encouraging discussion, exchange of ideas and learning from real challenges faced by creatives. Participants will also have the opportunity to connect with others working across Malta’s creative and cultural sectors.

A session focused on helping participants shape a creative idea into a clearer, more structured and sustainable model.
22 October 2026
Protecting Your Creative Work - IP, Copyright & Licensing
An introduction to the basics of protecting creative output, understanding rights and approaching licensing with more confidence.
29 October & 7 November 2026
Storytelling & Brand as a Business Tool
A session exploring how storytelling, identity and communication can help creatives express their value and connect with their audiences.
5 November 2026
Pricing & Monetising Creative Work
A practical look at pricing, value and ways to turn creative skills into more sustainable income opportunities.
31 October & 12 November 2026
Getting Seen, Getting Funded
A session focused on increasing visibility, accessing opportunities and understanding possible routes to support or funding.
The programme is free to attend, but registration is required.
