Kuwaiti National Day is celebrated every 25 February.
This special day commemorates the leadership of Sheikh Abdullah Al-Salim Al-Sabah and his steps in securing Kuwait's independence.
An event to celebrate the Kuwaiti students at the University of Malta will be held on Monday 16 February 2026 at Atriju Vassalli (Quadrangle).
Kuwaiti food, music, video screenings, Henna drawing, and sessions on Arabic calligraphy and language, will turn the Quad into a vibrant hub of culture for the day.
This is a great opportunity for local and other international students to experience the Kuwaiti culture and way of life.
The opening ceremony is taking place at 10:00.
