The Faculty of Education, University of Malta and the History Teachers’ Association (Malta) are organising the fifteenth Michael A. Sant Memorial Lecture on Wednesday 26 October at 18:00. The event will be held at the National Curriculum Centre, Farsons Street, Hamrun.
The lecture, entitled 'From theory to observable teacher behaviour: development of an observation instrument and analysis of history teaching in Icelandic upper secondary schools', will be delivered by Súsanna Margrét Gestsdóttir. Súsanna Margrét Gestsdóttir is teacher trainer at the University of Iceland and is at present reading for a Ph.D. in History Education at the University of Amsterdam. She is a board member of the Historiana IHEA.

During the event there will be the launch of 'History teaching & research: bridging the theory/practice divide Vol. 3'.
