In its Communication "Innovating for Sustainable Growth: A Bioeconomy for Europe" (COM(2012) 60 final), published on 13 February 2012, the European Commission announced the establishment of a European Union Bioeconomy Panel. The aim of the Panel is to enhance coherence and synergies between policy areas, related to the bioeconomy.
Following the expiry of the mandate of current members, the Commission is now calling for applications with the view of selecting stakeholders as members of the Bioeconomy Panel, according to the criteria detailed in the Call for expression of interest.
To ensure that the panel is representative of stakeholders, applicants should clearly demonstrate that they can represent a shared interest by stakeholders or an organisation.
After reading the Call for expression of interest of the Bioeconomy Panel and the Privacy Statement, interested candidates are invited to apply by submitting their application by 5 February 2016 at the following address.
