Abstract: A brief account of pilgrims that came to Malta during the 17th century to visit St. Paul's Grotto in Rabat. During the 17th century there was a rise in visits to the Grotto attributed both to the widespread devotion towards St. Paul and the renewed popularity of Malta after the Great Siege of 1565.
