Abstract: The Maltese language is derived from different languages. The English, Arabic and the Italian Language. In this article, the author wants to emphasize that certain words in Italian may not necessarily mean the same thing when said in Maltese. He also gives a list of words in Italian that when spoken in Maltese have a different meaning.
