| Abstract: | A Deloitte report proposes radical changes to the way the Malta Tourism Authority operates. This is the first of two articles commenting on aspects relating to the tourism product. Extensive parts of the Deloitte report refer to marketing, this being the core function of Malta Tourism Authority. The report states that "MTA's overall marketing effort is not being as effective as it could potentially be" and mentions deficiencies including "Insufficient focus", ''lack of branding policy" and "inconsistency over time or across markets". |
