Abstract: The importance of a collaborative, practice-ready health care workforce is recognised as one way to address the fragmentation existing in health systems. Interprofessional education (IPE), defined as occasions when professionals learn with, from and about each other to enhance collaborative practice, could partly address this concern. This study aimed to explore the possibility of implementing IPE at the Faculty of Health Sciences, University of Malta at a time when this approach is not practiced.
