Abstract: Sergio Grech explores the political poetry of Victor Fenech. Victor Fenech, one of the protagonists of the 1960s’ Moviment Qawmien Letterarju, is well known for his efforts in experimental innovation in the Maltese poetical field, ranging from the utililisation of the Japanese haiku and tanka verse form, to the poeproża genre, to the projective verse and the collage of words from various languages and linguistic registers.
Description: Sergio Grech presents a program about political literature. Politics is a part of our life and the writer feels the need to comment on the everyday politics sometimes in for and sometimes against the regime. The poet uses his poetry to bring out his message and talk for the people who have no voice. It reflects the history of the time.
