| Abstract: | This study, first of all, analysed the crisis that developed in primary and secondary education in the Small State of Antigua/Barbuda over the last 15 years, and 22 years after this state made education compulsory for children between the ages of 5-16 years. The analysis is carried out in both a specific local context and a much wider Small States one. Secondly, the foregoing analysis provides the basis for developing a wide range of reforms. Strategies are examined and selected for the successful implementation of these reforms so that the primary and secondary schools might lift themselves out of the crisis and achieve the nationally desired educational outcomes. |
