| Abstract: | The ritualistic performance of Gozitan Tixxowja is “staged to achieve an end, so there is always something at stake in performances.”With ethnography concentrating on young males in Gozo, this paper will explore various kinds of showing off, and discover what it is that they are willing to risk, and for whom or what they are showing off, or performing. |
