| Abstract: | This Report provides an overall assessment by the Malta Fiscal Advisory Council on the planned conduct of fiscal policy outlined in the Government’s Medium Term Fiscal Strategy for the period 2016 to 2019. It also assesses compliance to the numerical fiscal rules prescribed in the Stability and Growth Pact, and referred to in the Fiscal Responsibility Act, based on the separate calculations presented by the Ministry for Finance and the European Commission. |
