| Abstract: | The third and final part of a series of articles about Italian exiles living in Malta during the Unification of Italy. This article also describes the political situation at the time during which the language question of whether Italian or English should be considered as the official language was taking precedence. At the same time, the Maltese people were trying to form their own government and constitution separate from that of Great Britain. |
