Piranesi - Klinger : on the threshold of the avantguarde

Abstract

I hope that the display of Piranesi and Klinger’s prints in the exhibition “On the Threshold of the Avantgarde” will be an occasion for visitors to better appreciate both the art and the artist. This catalogue, the latest in Il-Ħaġar Gems Series, will help in no small way to achieve the appropriate and critical knowledge that the exhibition wants to transmit. Congratulations to all the colleagues involved in conceiving and setting up this exhibition and of course to those, all volunteers, who give time and love to keep Il-Ħaġar Museum running in the accomplishment of its cultural mission.
