Abstract: Two cases of postmenopausal labial adhesions in patients with severe hip joint disease are presented. The aetiology of labial adhesions in the postmenopausal woman is discussed. Hip joint disease is shown to influence the formation of adhesions by interfering with perineal hygiene and decreasing sexual activity.
