European social fund in the educational sector in Malta

Abstract

This dissertation has the aim of discerning how the European Social Fund initiatives are affecting the educational sector in Malta. Its sets out to determine whether the implementation of these initiatives is affecting youth and the employment sector. Through this research, both qualitative and quantitative research approached are being utilised to gather data. However, the document analysis will be the primary evaluation method used to study the data obtained. By the methods used in this research, it is determined that the European Social Fund education and training incentives have had an overall significant share in counteracting the workforce flaw in recent years. The conclusion places the findings in context by readdressing the link between the educational and employment sector.
