Faculty of Laws Newsletter : January 2024 : issue 15

Abstract

December is possibly the nicest month of the year, in the sense that after two extremely hectic months, every year the Faculty of Laws holds a number of meaningful and highly enjoyable activities before breaking up for recess. We have since welcomed in 2024, and look forward to another busy, eventful year, this being the year in which amongst other things we intend to conclude negotiatons concerning our planned journal and hopefully even publish Issue Number One; we also hope to do well in the Periodic Programme Review this being an exercise from which we can learn a lot and obtain a number of ideas which will lead to better offerings from our Faculty; we are also initiating new collaborations with other entities including overseas universities; I am also confident that over the next twelve months we will have more PhD graduates within our ranks and more new publications which I know for a fact that my colleagues within our Faculty are currently working on. All in all, an eventful year lies ahead, which I am really looking forward to making my way through. Best wishes to all for 2024.
