| Abstract: | The scope for my dissertation was to identify through analysis the causes of deterioration of the Saqqajja Fountain. This monument was specifically chosen on the basis of its various types of weathering forms. Testing was carried out for the identification of the difeerent types of soluble salts. On increasing the height from the road level, a decrease of moisture content was noted, subsequently, an increase of chloride and nitrate ions was noticed. |
