Abstract: This dissertation is a study of the effects of technology upon domestic interiors linking the past to present and future spaces. The effects are not limited to the tangible product but also take into account the development of domesticity and how this in turn affected the home. The relationships between technology and domesticity are highlighted as to provide a build up on how both play an important role in the home as we know it today.
