| Abstract: | A report drawn up by the ChiId care Task Force was presented to Social Policy Minister Lawrence Gonzi on January 14. The task force identified eight types of childcare service presently provided in Malta: Women who resign from the labour market for child-bearing and nurturing. Single-parent families are most vulnerable. Family-friendly measures that harmonise work/life obligations are strongly suggested. |
