| Abstract: | On 4 May 2023 the Institute for European Studies held its annual 'Europe Day' Quiz Night. Marking 9 May 2023, Europe Day, the quiz has become an integral part of the Institute's annual calendar and is generously sponsored by the European Commission Representation to Malta. Over 100 students and alumni participated in the quiz with questions ranging from the EU to sports and Eurovision. Prizes included vouchers from is-Suq tal-Belt, Farsons Direct, Can You Escape and Esplora. The event was opened by Prof. Mark Harwood, Director of the Institute, and was compered by an alumni of the Institute, Ronald Briffa. The winning team was Team ACD comprising Mark O'Neill, Andrew James Sammut and Dayle Scicluna. The Institute looks forward to welcoming more students at next year's quiz which will mark the 20th anniversary of EU membership. the Institute for European Studies held its annual 'Europe Day' Quiz Night.
