Abstract: During this seminar, Mr. Stefano Moncada, resident academic at the Institute, presented part of the preliminary results from his PhD research which focuses on climate change adaptation and development in the Least Developed Countries. The study aims. to measure the impact of community-level Overseas Development Assistance (ODA) on public health, specifically focusing on the provision of training. The specific context of the research is an informal urban settlement in Ethiopia which is characterised by extreme poverty, poor sanitation and high climate-sensitive risks, and where a biogas sanitation project funded by ODA was established in 2013.
