Team building activity for secondary school European Studies teachers

Abstract

On the 8th February 2023, the Institute held a team-Building exercise with European Studies (ES) secondary school teachers where they discussed the challenges ES teachers face, the need for greater synergies between ES at secondary and University level as well as how the Institute can support these teachers going forward. 13 teachers joined us to discuss how ES is being taught in Malta, the challenges faced by teachers and how we can increase cooperation between teachers and the Institute. As posted on our social media at that time, ‘a great experience, we want to thank all those who joined us for engaging in such an open and fruitful event. It was also very heartening to see some of our alumni now working as teachers and passing on their knowledge of ES to a new generation.
