| Abstract: | On November 13, 2024, in Warsaw, Poland, Dr. Kurt Xerri participated in the international conference "Housing Exclusion in Poland and Europe – Challenges and Perspectives in the Context of the Cost of Living Crisis", hosted by the Institute of Social Prevention at the University of Warsaw. His presentation, titled "Addressing Affordability Challenges in Small States: Emerging Solutions and Strategies (Malta)," examined innovative responses to housing affordability issues in small states. The conference, attended by academics, students, and NGO representatives, also featured an address by the Secretary for Civic Society Affairs of the Polish Government. [excerpt] |
