Abstract

The UM’s Academic Registrar issued a memo requiring that a post-assessment report is drawn up on each and every study unit, and posted on that particular study unit’s VLE section, after the exam / assignment results are published. Some BOEs within the Faculty of Laws have already started to write these reports; indeed it is confirmed that once the corrections are done it takes no more than a couple of minutes to draw up a short report for this purpose. This notwithstanding, the Faculty of Laws will be discussing the most efficient and effective way how to implement said requirement; until then the BOEs are encouraged to write a short but comprehensive report, and to post it on the respective VLE after exam results are published. It is also very important for the BOEs to remember to provide Revising Examiners with a copy of said report, thus ensuring consistency in the whole examination process.
