Increasing public awareness of B.Sc. (Hons) Technical Design and Technology through the use of design

Abstract

The primary goal of this dissertation is to raise public knowledge of the University of Malta's B.Sc. (Hons) Technical Design and Technology programme. This is accomplished through the creation of a website that contains essential information that a potential student needs to know and is presented in an aesthetically pleasing manner through the use of photographs and other design elements. This website will also give a forum for previous and current students to display their work completed throughout this course's study. Since the fundamental issue was a need for more students to enrol in such a course, this part of marketing was designed to promote both the course and the students currently or have previously studied. This website was built and enhanced using the knowledge gained from this study, the required research, and interviews with former and present students of this course.
