Ten papers were presented and focused on the trans community, LGBTIQ issues in education, legal rights, sex workers, LGBTIQ ageing, as well as LGBTIQ themes in modern Maltese theatre. The event was opened by the Parliamentary Secretary for Reforms and Equality, the Hon. Rebecca Buttigieg, and the Dean of the Faculty for Social Wellbeing. The event was overseen and chaired by Prof Marceline Naudi, Dr Claire Azzopardi Lane and Prof Mark Harwood. The event was closed by Colette Farrugia Bennett representing MGRM. As in previous years, the papers presented will be published as a volume in the 'Mapping the Rainbow' series, previous editions being available at https://humanrights.gov.mt/en/Pages/LGBTIQ%20Equality/Publications.aspx
