| Abstract: | On 21 and 22 April the Institute/EDIC sponsored the LGBTIQ Symposium organised by the Department of Gender and Sexualities. The event took place in the evening on two concurrent days and involved 6 panels where researchers presented a breakdown of their work on LGBTIQ themes and was organised in cooperation with the EDIC, MGRM and the Human Rights Directorate within the Ministry for Justice, Equality and Governance. The event was opened by the European Commissioner for Equality on the first day and by Dr Harwood on the second. Dr Harwood spoke about the EDIC network and the Conference on the Future of Europe. |
