Faculty of Laws Newsletter : October 2025 : issue 33

Abstract

The Editorial Board takes the opportunity to welcome you all to a new academic year, which we hope will be a fruitful one for all of us. We also welcome you to another issue of this newsletter. As per tradition, we skipped September since August is recess month and therefore it is presumed that nothing worth reporting happens in August. In actual fact a lot happens in August, both at admin and at academic level, since we are hard at work with corrections, ROPs, preparation for September exam session, and processing of applications for new admissions to our courses, while M.Not and M.Adv students are in Sem 3 of their degree. Despite all this work, the Dean always insists that we apply for leave of absence and take a break; in the meantime we also try to apply ‘the right to be forgotten when on official vacation leave’ and also a ‘no meetings during August’ policy. How much we actually succeed is another matter and depends on each and every one of us! [excerpt]
