| Abstract: | As the demand for electricity increases while the need for decarbonization becomes more pressing, residential LV feeders are hosting increasing numbers of PV systems. Traditional voltage regulation approaches become less effective. The paper considers the aggregate operation of residential battery storage systems for offering network services, in addition to their conventional operation. Part of the battery capacity is dynamically reserved for the network service. The paper examines the resulting voltage profile on the feeder from aggregate residential storage service for voltage regulation. Weighting- and scaling- factors are considered to skew the effort distribution between the participating units. Voltage MAE and RSME are used to assess the reshaped profile. |
