Abstract: In people with diabetes and a foot ulcer, does the risk grade assigned with each classification/scoring system accurately predict clinical outcomes?We will assess the accuracy of the previously identified classifications: BWAT (Bates Jensen wound assessment tool), Chetpet et al., CHS (Curative Health Services) score, CSSC (Clinical Signs and Symptoms checklist),DEPA score, DESIGN score, DFI (Diabetic foot infection) score, DFUAS (Diabetic foot ulcer assessment scale), DIAFORA (Diabetic foot risk assessment) tool, DIRECT score, DMIST score, DUSS (Diabetic Ulcer Severity Score) score, Eurodiale, IDSA/IWGDF, LRINEC(Laboratory Risk Indicator for Necrotising Fasciitis) score, PEDIS, PUSH (Pressure Ulcer Scale for Healing) score, S(AD)SAD, SEWSS (Saint Elian Wound Score System) score, SIGN(Scottish Intercollegiate Guideline Network)/SCI-DC system, SINBAD, Tardivo, University of Texas wound classification system, vanAcker/Peter, (Meggitt-)Wagner, WHI (Wound Healing Index) score, WIfI, Xie et al.
