| Abstract: | Grandma got STEAM is an intergenerational project that brings together young people from Youth Ink – Aġenzija Żgħażagħ and women with families and successful careers in Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Maths. Participants worked with a storyteller, illustrator, and photographer to develop a pack of illustrated storytelling cards featuring characters and plots drawn from the life and work experiences of the women. The pack serves as a storytelling tool for anyone interested in story and community. The project involved storytelling workshops where mentors shared their journeys, opportunities, and obstacles, resulting in a storytelling card pack capturing emotions, memories, hopes, and dreams. |
