Abstract: This paper aims at evaluating the impact of a world-class film industry on the local economy and Malta’s territorial attractiveness. Furthermore, this paper tackles this thesis from the supply side rather than from the traditional and common demand side of things. It is important to note that this paper creates the platform for discussion on a managerial / leadership perspective, resulting in a different and a higher validated submission. The thesis paper aims to discuss consumer wants’ and the way this shall be sold to the relevant stakeholders. One of the preferred filming locations in Europe - Malta will be put under the microscope to analyse the past, present, and future for this niche. The primary goal of this research is to analyse the film industry in Malta and produce goods and concepts that will propel the sector to "world-class" status and reap advantages such as economic injections into the Maltese economy. In an effort to attain such an understanding and to accomplish this research study, a variety of primary and secondary data sources were used, with a focus on qualitative methodologies. The delphi method was picked as the chosen method for this research study.
