Here where I belong

Abstract

This little collection of stories is for you, little you and grown-up you. The stories have travelled from all over the European continent—Norwegian mountains, Italian seas, Slovenian rivers, Hungarian meadows, and Maltese cliffs—to reach you. Spun by Giuliana, Giovanna, Ivanir, Špela, and Maja after their gathering in Malta in March 2019, these modern fairy tales draw from nature (grain of sand, seed, drop of rain, smallest flame) and remind us of our connection to Mother Earth. They invite readers to embrace nature, cultivate curiosity, community, courage and change, and act as an act of rebellion against despair in the face of the environmental crisis.
